Family Codes

Adam is code number One hundred. He is married with two children: Cain and Abel. Cain is the first born and assumes code number two hundred and ten and Abel, two hundred and twenty. Cain’s three children are code numbers three hundred and eleven; and twelve; and thirteen from the eldest to the youngest respectively. Abel’s four children are code numbers three hundred and twenty one; twenty two; three and four respectively. Dear reader, this is just hypothetical – don’t get confused yet- welcome to ‘Family codes’.

It is the germ of my new novel that is still in the manuscript stages. It’s titled ‘World Wide Web’. It is a revelation- a literary account that seeks to unveil a fact of life that has eluded human attention for generations. It is a great idea (and I don’t know how to blow trumpets- let alone own one!) that will send publishers come running after me instead of the reverse! It will be a world’s best seller, not to mention the numerous endorsements, film adaptations and award nominations it will garner since it will not just be a book, but a phenomenon replete with its fair share of intrigues whose time of revelation has come. It will trigger minds and ignite incidental activities. So, count yourself lucky for getting a sneak peak into the world’s next big thing. The book will be neutral on religion but it will provoke Historians, Statisticians and Physicians. It will herald a new awakening. Dear reader, don’t get overwhelmed yet- welcome to ‘Family codes’.

This isn’t fiction. Neither rocket science. It’s something very natural, mistakenly overlooked by numerous generations for centuries on end yet very crucial information for humanity to savor. Hindered by the imperfections of man to figure it out yet needed by the very man himself to help him ease the many bureaucracies currently on the world formal platforms. Dear reader, don’t get impatient- welcome to ‘Family codes’.

Of course you too have your code. Oh yes! You do have a unique number that singles you out from other population members of the world. It is a number you assumed on your birth day. It’s a code that identifies you and your ancestral links all the way to the first man to have ever lived on this planet. Adam. It is your identification number or serial number or secret number; name it, which is archived in God’s own pedigree chart. So, dear reader, promise me patience and keenness of mind, then let’s walk together to crack into God’s own records bank as we trace our lineage to our common cradle. When you finish reading 'World Wide Web', you will be in a position to know your own code. It's a book inspired by the belief that the whole world is one big family, and seeks to provide insights and proper logistics on how to go about constructing one family tree that will link everyone on earth, living or dead, towards one common source. I know it’s epic- but don’t get puzzled yet- welcome to ‘Family codes’.

 …look out for part two.
